The indicator does not turn onEAGLELION
Steps to solve it
- Check the power cable.
- Check the uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
Windows shows a startup error (KRPC models with built-in computer)EAGLELION
Possible cause
Cutting the power suddenly can cause data loss and hardware failures.
Steps to solve it
- If Windows shows an error while starting, use Startup Repair.
Note KRPC models contain a computer, so the power must not be cut suddenly when shutting down. Use Start > Shut down in Windows, or press the ON button on the rear panel of the indicator once, briefly.
The weight on the indicator display keeps going negativeEAGLELION
Possible cause
One or more load cells of the scale are faulty.
Steps to solve it
- Contact technical support to locate the faulty load cell.
Note The health test of the connected load cell can be done in the IC SAYAÇ (internal counter) menu of the indicator. On LION this screen should read a value between 0 and 167772.

The indicator display goes darkEAGLELION
Possible cause
The scale capacity is lower than the weight placed on it.
Steps to solve it
- Change the capacity of that scale in the Betosistem software.
- Since the capacity has changed, repeat the calibration.
Stock shortfalls keep appearingEAGLELIONBetonicTCP
Steps to solve it
- Check the scale calibrations at least once a month.
- Before calibrating, clean around the scale and the canvas under the discharge gates.
- Make sure the scale hangs level by keeping the metal rods (studs) that connect the load cells to the scale at equal lengths.
- If the shortfall continues, place a 50 kg weight on each corner where a load cell is attached, one at a time. The indicator must show the same value at every corner.
- If any corner differs by even (+/-) 1 kg, check the load cell at that corner.
- If there is no calibration error, check the manual productions and material intakes in BetonicTCP under Program settings > Manuals.
- If the shortfall still continues, call service for technical support.
The software and the indicator do not communicate (the serial port indicator in the bottom right corner is not spinning)EAGLELIONBetonicTCP
Possible cause
If the serial port status indicator in the bottom right corner of the software is not spinning, there is a communication problem.
Steps to solve it
- Check the serial port settings in the software.
- In Device Manager > Mice and other pointing devices, if there is a device named "Microsoft Serial Ballpoint", turn it off with "Disable".
- If the problem persists, call an authorised service.
MessageSerial port could not be openedBetonicTCP
Possible cause
The COM port address is not selected correctly.
Steps to solve it
- Click the Serial Port button on the General tab of Program settings.
- On the Serial Port Status screen, choose the COM port number used on the computer where the software is installed from the "Serial Port No" list.
- When the right port is selected, data from the process device appears on this screen.
Indicator weights do not appear in the software (after first installation)EAGLELIONBetonicTCP
Possible cause
The plant parameters have not been sent.
Steps to solve it
- Send all parameters in order from Files > M3 > Plant settings.
The scale gates always appear open in the softwareEAGLELION
Steps to solve it
- Make sure cable no. 900 is plugged into the Serial 2 connector.
- Check the power supply of the PLC.
- If the gates appear open and you also cannot see the scale weights on the screen, call service.
The mimic panel sounds an intermittent siren and the LEDs flashEAGLELION
Steps to solve it
- Make sure cable no. 900 is plugged into the Serial 2 connector.
- Check the power supply of the PLC.
- If it continues, call service.
Calibration settings return to the old values after a power cutEAGLE
Possible cause
The values were skipped on the "SUrE" (confirm) screen without confirming. New values are then kept only until the power is cut; after a power cut the indicator returns to the previous settings.
Steps to solve it
- Repeat the calibration and confirm on the "SUrE" (confirm) screen at the end. Confirmed values are kept even after a power cut.
Weighing is wrong after C 01, C 02 or C 03 was changedANTHAWK
Possible cause
Scale capacity and calibration are set by C 01 (division value), C 02 (number of divisions) and C 03 (decimals); changing them breaks the calibration.
Steps to solve it
- Restore the old values or recalibrate for the new values.
- Calibrate with reference (test) weights of known mass.
Note In case of a fault, the indicator or load cells can be tested in the IC SAYAÇ (internal counter) menu.
MessageFilling errorBetonicTCP
Possible cause
The expected material did not reach the scale within the "Filling error time" (s) set in the scale filling parameters. The system switches on the filling vibrators automatically.
Steps to solve it
- If filling does not happen although the vibrators are running, check the filling gates of the scale.
- Check the valves.
- Check whether there is material in the silo.
MessageDischarge errorBetonicTCP
Possible cause
The material on the scale could not be discharged within the "Discharge error time" (s). The discharge vibrators of the scale switch on automatically.
Steps to solve it
- If discharge does not happen although the vibrators are running, check the discharge areas of the scale.
MessageTolerance errorBetonicTCP
Possible cause
The material taken is outside the (+/-) "Tolerance" value in the silo definition. Production on this scale is put on hold.
Steps to solve it
- Check the amount taken onto the scale.
- To continue, press "DEVAM" (continue) on the mimic screen or F8 on the keyboard.
Note When the intake is within tolerance, the system continues filling without waiting for the operator.
MessageWarning: material … exceeded the Safety Warning LimitBetonicTCP
Possible cause
The amount in the recipe exceeds the Warning Limit in the "Safety" field of the material record. For aggregate, water and admixture these limits are defined relative to the cement in the recipe.
Steps to solve it
- Check the amount of that material on the recipe design screen. A warning does not block production.
MessageError: material … exceeded the Safety Max. LimitBetonicTCP
Possible cause
The amount in the recipe exceeds the Max. Limit in the "Safety" field of the material record.
Steps to solve it
- Reduce the amount of that material below the Max. limit on the recipe design screen. Production with this recipe is blocked until the error is corrected.
A warning or error appears for a weight while entering a recipeBetonicTCP
Possible cause
The weight of a material in the recipe is outside the Min. / Max. amount range in Program settings > Safety > Recipe safety.
Steps to solve it
- Check and correct the weight you entered.
- If "Error" is selected you cannot continue until the value is corrected; if "Warning" is selected you can continue.
Note Min. and Max. amounts are not the total scale capacity but the weight for each material in the recipe.
MessageCustomer order quantity exceededBetonicTCP
Possible cause
A new production was started although the ordered quantity has already been produced.
Steps to solve it
- If set to "Warning", production can go ahead.
- If set to "Error", no production is possible for this customer; an authorised user must edit the order quantity or create a new order.
Note Whether this is a warning or an error is set in Program settings > Safety > Order / production safety.
MessageMaximum batch quantity exceededBetonicTCP
Possible cause
The production quantity exceeds mixer capacity multiplied by the Max. batch count (e.g. at most 20 m³ with a 2 m³ mixer and 10 batches).
Steps to solve it
- Enter a production quantity within the mixer capacity × Max. batch count limit.
- The limit is set by the "Max. batch count" field in Program settings > Safety > Order / production safety.
Truck mixer capacity or legal load limit warning / errorBetonicTCP
Possible cause
The weight to be loaded (recipe unit weight × m³) exceeds the vehicle's legal load limit or its m³ capacity.
Steps to solve it
- Reduce the load below the volume (m³) and weight the vehicle can carry. If "Error" is selected, the system continues only then.
- Check the capacity (m³) and legal load limit (kg) of the vehicle in its Vehicles record.
Note Whether this is a warning or an error is set in Program settings > Safety > Vehicle safety; only authorised users can open this section.
MessageCustomer credit exceededBetonicTCP
Possible cause
The customer's "Max. credit (m³)" is used up and "Credit closed" is ticked in the customer record.
Steps to solve it
- Get approval from an authorised person in your company for prepayment details and a credit increase.
Note For customers marked "Account closed" no order can be opened either; approval from an authorised person is needed.
The extra water amount entered is not acceptedBetonicTCP
Possible cause
The value is outside the limits your company's authorised person set in Program settings > Safety > Extra water safety.
Steps to solve it
- Check the value you entered (e.g. 100 kg may have been typed instead of 10 kg) and enter it again within the limits.
The software closes itself after password attempts at start-upBetonicTCP
Possible cause
The number of password attempts set in Login definitions was exceeded; the software then closes itself.
Steps to solve it
- The number of attempts allowed is set in the "Login definitions" field of Program settings > Safety > Program safety; ask an authorised user.
The software needs to be reinstalled (Windows or software problem)BetonicTCP
Steps to solve it
- Insert the installation CD or USB flash drive supplied with the system.
- In the window that opens, click "Open folder to view files".
- Open the BetonSys folder for the language you want and click SETUP.EXE.
- On the destination folder screen (C:\Program Files\TEKNO\Betonic) continue with NEXT; use BROWSE for another folder.
- Complete the installation with FINISH.
Note On KRPC models the software comes pre-installed. The installation CD or flash drive should be handed to an authorised person in your company and kept.
